Tasting Notes
Rich, deep golden honey-coloured. On the nose, muted sherry notes, aromatic oils, touch of wood, spice and toffee. Wonderfully mellow and smooth on the palate with complex flavours of fudge and toffee spice, hints of wood and leather, gentle sherry nuttiness and vanilla. The finish is lingering, carrying notes of wood, spice and toffee to the very end.
Distillery Notes
First introduced in 2002, Jameson 18 year old Master Selection, is the master blender’s hand-picked selection of very old whiskeys which have been maturing in Oloroso sherry casks for at least 18 years and then finished in First Fill Bourbon casks for 6-12 months. Rare – only limited stocks of this exceptional whiskey are available, thus each bottle is individually numbered.
