Tasting Notes
Luscious deep red ruby colour. Aromas are rich and complex with notes of stewed plums and damson jam and just a hint of gentle Islay peat smoke. Succulent autumnal stewed fruits on the palate are balanced with a hint of the salty Islay sea air and subtle peaty smoke. The finish is long, warm and delicious.

A surprisingly good Whisky; both subtle yet with amazing complexity. Initial Aromas of rich vintage Port being decanted. It has the unique peated
distinction of Bowmore, with what I always describe as an underlying burnt rubber taste. On the nose there are tones of polished Oak, Primrose floral
tones and a sandy/soil earthiness. With water there’s the light smell of Prune skins, Mars bar Chocolate, Ginger, Currants and dried Orange peel.
Medicinal notes of Cleansing liquid and young sappy Pine Resin. The complexity continues through with Raisin topped baked Apples and buttery sugar
just caramelising. Finally there’s a hit of light floral and fruity tones of Elderberry flower and fresh Loganberries. Finish is more than
delightful with reminiscent aromas of soft glowing Embers. Great length and slow fading sweetness make this a hugely memorable Malt.
