Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep honeyed gold Nose: Heavy butterscotch sweetness, dried fruits, subtle hints of orange Body: Smooth and full Palate: Perfectly balance, wild honey and heather, delicate spices Finish: Very rich and long with a distinct dry aftertaste.100% bourbon barrels are used to create this whisky
Distillery Notes
Produced at one of only two distilleries on the Isle of Orkney. Scapa gives a warm glow, a calm, almost other-worldly feeling of connectedness coupled with the satisfaction of having found something beyond the obvious. A 'bright' sweet & silky smooth Orcadian whisky. An intriguing, unexpectantly accessible island malt: the softer side of island life - the adventure rewarded.
