Tasting Notes
A rich dried-fruit sweetness with clouds of smoke and strong barley-malt flavours, warming and intense. At the back of the mouth is an explosion of pepper. Finish: Huge, long, warming peppery finish with an appetising sweetness.
Distillery Notes
On the shores of Loch Harport, Talisker is Skye’s only distillery producing a wonderfully powerful and award-winning Island malt bottled at above average strength.

A great Whisky for cold Winter evenings.Initially intense spirit, white pepper, cereal, sweet malt smoker With water: dried orange skins, bananas,
dried apricots, volcanic peat smoke, sweet oatcakes, washed-rind cheese saltiness. Well rounded, full flavoured body. Peppery and earthy in one big
hit, quite mouth numbing at first (think I need a bit more Water), bitter tannins, perhaps a hint of sherry, woody undertones and some sweetness. The
finish is big, long and full. Still sweet and malty and spicy. Apple skins and a dusting of nutmeg. Talisker has a remarkably powerful nose, however
the taste is not as aggresive as I thought it would be and it’s overall smoothness and complexity makes it come across as older than its 10 years.
Would love to find a bottle of 18yr old, but they're so rare now.

more reviewsI adore Taliskers 10 year old. The nose, the flavour, the dried fruits, the sublime pepperiness of it all as it lingers at the back of the throat is
utterly succulent. Its very palatable and simply leaves one smiling while contemplating its brilliance.
